Preparing for Informational Interviews

Before conducting an informational interview, you'll need to know as much as you can about the person you're interviewing and the company he or she works for. You'll also need to prepare questions that will give you the information you really need to make a career decision. In this activity, you'll dig into the kinds of information you can ask for and create a list of questions you can print out and use in a real interview situation.
