Junior Achievement’s eleventh annual JA Titan Challenge is a day-long student competition which uses the Junior Achievement high school simulation program, JA Titan. By placing students in the CEO seat to increase their understanding of business, this competition teaches young entrepreneurs about the nuances of running a global business in a competitive, high-tech marketplace. Students have complete control of managing and operating their own virtual business and making key decisions while competing for post-secondary education scholarships.
Student teams of two will engage in this competition along with a business volunteer to assist in the simulation. Students can expect to learn and apply business concepts, experience the competitive nature of the free enterprise system, interact and learn from business leaders with various areas of expertise and practice communication, teamwork, decision-making and leadership skills.
NEW for 2021 – a completely revamped and updated JA Titan Challenge experience. To accommodate the update we have moved this event to the spring to ensure the best experience for our students.
